About
A laboratory for community
Laboratoriet is a place where art, culture and practical action meet to explore how we can live a little better – together.
Together with Solon Eiendom AS and Kvartal 71 AS, a handful of cultural minds in 3Volver AS and Dirty Old Town AS have been given the chance to create a cultural dream scenario at Tordenskjolds gate 65. The dream is called Laboratoriet!
Laboratoriet is located in Kvartal 71 in Kristiansand, in a building that used to be a hospital. We want to contribute to a positive development of the district, create more jobs in culture and bring more artists to the region.
Together with 3Volver, Dirty Old Town, Områdeløftet and many, many others, we will explore what art and culture can contribute to value creation, preparedness, democracy, fun and parties, inclusion and stewardship.
The website is a work in progress – more pages and information will follow.
